Eagle Mill is an independent boutique hotel tucked into three acres of gardens, orchard and paddock in the Cambridgeshire countryside, with just seven individually designed rooms and suites.
It is the kind of place where you can arrive, leave the noise behind and feel the pace change. There are no endless hotel corridors or crowds of guests passing your door — just a small collection of rooms spread across the property, plenty of outdoor space and countryside waiting beyond it.
Step outside and you can walk or cycle straight from Eagle Mill, wander through the grounds, sit outside with a drink or simply enjoy having space around you. Although it feels wonderfully tucked away, you are never cut off — St Ives and Huntingdon are close by, Cambridge is within easy reach and direct trains from Huntingdon connect you with London.

Great Ouse
Great Ouse is one of Eagle Mill’s most striking rooms: a spacious 33m² ground-floor room with a super king-size bed and an atmospheric view across the orchard from your bed. A freestanding bath with its own oak caddy sits within the room, with a separate spacious rain shower.
With its own entrance and patio, it has a lovely sense of space and independence. A fold-away bed can also be added for a third guest when needed.
Cam
Cam is a spacious 31m² ground-floor room with a super king-size bed, comfortable seating and an atmospheric view across the orchard from your bed. French doors open onto the patio, bringing the garden right to the room.
A freestanding stainless-steel bath sits within the room itself, with a separate en-suite and spacious rain shower. A fold-away bed can also be added when needed.
Hemingford
Hemingford is a spacious 32m² room with a super king-size bed, reclaimed wood flooring and a striking composite stone Castello bath designed for two, set on a raised platform in an alcove within the room.
Large bi-fold doors open onto its own terrace and garden, while the separate en-suite has a spacious rain shower. A fold-away bed can also be added for a third guest.
The Houghton
At 31m², The Houghton feels wonderfully spacious, with a sumptuous super king-size bed, deep comfortable seating and extra-wide bi-fold doors opening straight onto its own terrace and garden.
Inside, the large oval composite stone Castello bath, designed for two, gives the room its indulgent edge, while the separate en-suite features Mandarin stone slate and metro tiles, a spacious rain shower and underfloor heating.
Wyton
At approximately 31m², Wyton is generous without losing its cosy feel, with a super king-size metal bed, two comfortable reading chairs, reclaimed wooden flooring and a dedicated workstation. French doors open onto its own terrace with a table, chairs and lounger.
The ensuite adds a little indulgence, with a large composite stone bateau bath designed for two, a separate spacious rain shower, underfloor heating and a heated towel rail.
Hartford
Reached by its own private internal staircase, Hartford is a wonderfully atmospheric 30m² attic room that feels deceptively spacious, with a super king-size bed and warm wooden flooring.
French doors open onto a Juliet balcony with views across the garden and orchard, while the en-suite features Mandarin stone porcelain tiles, a spacious rain shower and underfloor heating.
With its elevated position and views across the grounds, Hartford has a character all of its own.
Abbots Ripton
At 21m², Abbots Ripton is snug but stacked with character, with a Hypnos King-sized bed, warm wooden flooring and a dedicated workstation.
The ensuite is every bit as individual, with Mandarin stone porcelain and marble tiles, a spacious walk-in rain shower, underfloor heating and an eye-catching French wash basin.
Its smaller footprint gives it a cosy, tucked-away feel, without sacrificing the comfort and finish found throughout Eagle Mill.

Dog-Friendly Stays
Four-legged guests are very welcome too - We know a break doesn’t feel quite the same when one member of the family has been left behind, which is why dogs are welcome in selected Eagle Mill rooms.
With three acres around you and beautiful countryside and riverside walks nearby, there’s plenty to explore before heading back to put your feet — and paws — up.
We deliberately keep dog stays to selected rooms rather than every room. Dogs are welcome at £25 per dog, per stay, and because suitability varies, please contact us directly before booking so we can make sure the right room is available — whether you’re bringing your dog or would prefer a room not used for dog-friendly stays.
