Stay With Us
A more personal kind of hotel stay
At Eagle Mill, arriving feels a little different to checking into a conventional hotel — and that’s very much the point.
Pull into our own private car park and, rather than heading for a reception desk, you’ll be welcomed personally by Sam, Sonya or one of the Eagle Mill team. Should we be enjoying the garden, or attending to guests, just ring the bell on the White House or give us a tinkle on the phone. We will show you to your room, help you get settled and make sure you know where everything is before leaving you to relax.
We live here too, so although you’ll have the privacy to come and go as you please, there’s usually someone nearby if you need us. It’s one of the things that makes Eagle Mill feel less like checking into a hotel and more like being welcomed somewhere you can genuinely feel at home.
Eagle Mill is your own little corner of the Cambridgeshire countryside. Step outside and you have three acres of gardens, orchard and paddock around you — space to breathe, wander, sit with a drink, let the children play or simply find a quiet corner and do absolutely nothing for a while. This is somewhere to slow down, spend time together and make memories with the people who matter.
Psst… booking direct with Eagle Mill has its perks
Book directly with Eagle Mill for our best available rates with our Price Match Guarantee, priority access to our dog-friendly rooms, an early check-in and a complimentary room upgrade, when available.
Arriving at Eagle Mill
You’ll notice a white house as you enter the grounds — this is our private home rather than guest reception. If we haven’t spotted you arriving — or Callie, our little dog, hasn’t announced you first — just give us a call and we’ll come and greet you.
Arriving later than planned? Don’t worry. Just let us know and we’ll make arrangements with you.
Settle In
Your room will be ready with the little things that make settling in easy.
Soft waffle robes, sustainable toiletries, tea and coffee-making facilities, ultra-fast Wi-Fi, air conditioning, underfloor heating and an award-winning Hypnos mattress all help make your room somewhere you can properly settle into.
You’ll also find a large LED TV with an Amazon Firestick, a workstation/dressing table, hairdryer, spacious rain shower and heated towel rail. An iron and ironing board are available in every room.
Selected rooms also have their own private terrace with table, chairs and lounger, while drinks and wine are available to purchase from the in-room refrigerator.
Make Yourself at Home
Step outside into three acres of garden, orchard and paddock, find a spot on one of the terraces, head out for a walk or simply disappear into your room for a few hours.
Once you’re settled in, Eagle Mill is yours to enjoy. Come and go as you please, enjoy your privacy, and if you need anything, one of us is usually not too far away.
Looking for somewhere to explore? Visit our Things to Do page for days out, scenic walks from Eagle Mill and cycling routes through the Cambridgeshire countryside.
Drinks at Eagle Mill
Yes — we’re fully licensed.
There’s no need to arrive armed with your own bottle of wine. Drinks are available during your stay, so settle in, put the car keys away and let us look after you.
Family Stays
Room to be a family - Children are very welcome at Eagle Mill — and children under 2 stay free.
With three acres of gardens, orchard and paddock to enjoy, there’s room for younger guests to get outside, kick a ball around and simply be themselves while the grown-ups relax.
Eagle Mill is our home too, and family life is very much part of it. We want children to feel welcome here, rather than feeling they have to be on their very best behaviour from morning to night.
If you’re travelling as a family, talk to us before booking and we’ll help you choose the room and arrangement that works best for you.
Dog-Friendly Stays
Four-legged guests are very welcome too - We know a break doesn’t feel quite the same when one member of the family has been left behind, which is why dogs are welcome in selected Eagle Mill rooms.
With three acres around you and beautiful countryside and riverside walks nearby, there’s plenty to explore before heading back to put your feet — and paws — up.
We deliberately keep dog stays to selected rooms rather than every room. Dogs are welcome at £25 per dog, per stay, and because suitability varies, please contact us directly before booking so we can make sure the right room is available — whether you’re bringing your dog or would prefer a room not used for dog-friendly stays.
Switch Off & Unwind
Sometimes doing very little is exactly the plan.
Pull on your robe, pour a drink, disappear into a long bath, sit outside on your terrace or simply close the door on everything else for a while.
Some of our rooms lend themselves particularly beautifully to romantic breaks, pamper stays and weekends with friends, with generous spaces, statement baths and plenty of room to relax and get ready.
If you’re arranging something extra — perhaps a mobile therapist, hair or make-up appointment or another treat during your stay — speak to us before you arrive and we’ll help wherever we can.
Come for one quiet night together, turn it into a weekend with friends, or bring the whole group.
Special Occasions
A beautiful place for the moments around the big moment
Sometimes the stay is part of the occasion.
Spend the night before your wedding somewhere peaceful, gather your closest friends together, get ready without feeling rushed or simply come back to Eagle Mill after the celebrations and make the occasion last a little longer.
Our spacious rooms give you room for dresses, suits, hair and make-up preparations, while the gardens and grounds can provide a lovely backdrop for photographs.
Planning something bigger? Eagle Mill has just seven individually styled rooms, so talk to us about bringing your favourite people together and making the hotel feel almost entirely your own.
Celebrating Something?
Tell us what you have in mind
Birthdays, anniversaries, weekends with friends, a romantic night away or simply an excuse to get everybody together — if there’s a reason behind your stay, tell us.
Perhaps you’d love a particular bottle waiting in your room, you’re planning a surprise for someone, or you’d like to talk to us about one of our relaxed Pizza Nights or BBQ Events.
If there’s something that would make the stay feel particularly yours, tell us. Have a favourite wine? Celebrating somebody’s birthday? Want drinks waiting when you arrive? Planning an evening with local friends at Eagle Mill? Let us know and, where we can, we’ll help make it happen.
It’s always best to talk to us beforehand about additional guests, food or group plans so we can make sure everything works beautifully for you.
Business & Corporate Stays
Work comfortably, switch off properly - Business travel doesn’t have to mean another anonymous hotel room. At Eagle Mill, you’ll have ultra-fast Wi-Fi, a comfortable workspace in your room and space to relax when the working day is done. Wi-Fi also extends around the property, so when the weather allows, you can even work from the gardens or terrace.
We offer discounted corporate rates for regular business stays, and our flexible approach to check-in means we can usually help if meetings, traffic or flights delay your arrival.
Once the laptop closes, settle into your room, enjoy your private ensuite, a drink, breakfast and three acres of grounds.
Accessibility
Most of our guest rooms are on the ground floor, with wide doorways and generally easy access from the car park and grounds. There are some small thresholds between areas, but we regularly welcome guests with mobility requirements and are very happy to help you choose the room that will suit you best.
The guest toilet in our breakfast room is not wheelchair accessible, although every guest room has its own private en-suite bathroom.
We regularly welcome guests with mobility requirements, so if accessibility is important to you, please get in touch before booking. We’ll be happy to talk through the rooms and help you choose the most suitable option.

Our rooms use water-efficient taps, toilets and showers.
To help save water and detergents, bed linen is laundered after three days unless you request otherwise.
Towels that are hung up or placed on the heated towel rail will be left for reuse. If you would like fresh towels, simply leave them on the floor or in the bath and we’ll happily replace them.

Where we aren’t satisfied with the sourcing of something, we’re prepared to change it — including removing smoked salmon from our menu over responsible sourcing concerns.
