Nestled in three acres of garden, orchard and paddock, Eagle Mill began life as an 18th-century millworker’s cottage and is now home to seven individually designed rooms and suites, including two hidden amongst the trees in the orchard.

Our Rooms

From spacious rooms with private terraces and gardens to rooms hidden amongst the trees in the orchard, no two stays at Eagle Mill need feel quite the same. Each room has been individually designed with its own character, while sharing the same relaxed approach to comfort, thoughtful details and those little luxuries that make it very easy to settle in.
Breakfast worth rising & shining for at Eagle Mill
Breakfast is included with every stay at Eagle Mill and freshly prepared each morning. Simply choose what you’d like the evening before and we’ll have everything ready to prepare fresh for you the following morning.
From eggs just the way you like them to Lavazza coffee and Joe’s Tea, breakfast is a relaxed part of the Eagle Mill experience. Dietary requirements are happily catered for too — simply let us know what you need.
Eagle Mill's motto is simple: “Taste it, don’t waste it.” It’s part of our thoughtful approach to food and waste, using local and seasonal ingredients wherever possible. When the orchard has something particularly good to offer, a little of Eagle Mill’s own harvest may find its way onto the table too.

With riverside walks, countryside paths and cycle routes almost on the doorstep, Eagle Mill is perfectly placed for exploring this beautiful corner of Cambridgeshire. Wander through Houghton and the Hemingfords, follow the River Great Ouse towards St Ives, or take the short walk to historic Houghton Mill. You will find Cambridge a most wonderful city with everything from punting to retail therapy on offer. If you haven’t been, it is worth a visit.
